What we collect
The email address you sign up with, the audio you choose to record, the transcripts and drafts produced from it, and basic usage information such as which screens you opened and when.
We do not ask for patient names, medical record numbers, or dates of birth, and you should not dictate them. Otto does not need them to draft a note.
What we do with it
Your audio is transcribed and used to produce your draft. That is the whole purpose, and it is the only thing we use it for.
Your recordings and drafts are never used to train a model, ours or anyone else's, and are never sold or shared for advertising.
How long we keep it
Audio is deleted on a fixed schedule shortly after your draft is produced. Drafts remain available to you until you delete them or close your account.
Closing your account deletes your drafts. Ask us and we will confirm when it is done.
Who else can see it
Nobody else using Otto can see your cases. Access is scoped to your own account, and there is no administrative view that exposes case content.
We use a small number of infrastructure and speech-processing providers to run the service. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
Your choices
You can export or delete any draft at any time, and you can close your account whenever you like.
Write to us and we will answer specifically rather than pointing you back at this page.
